Happy 5th Birthday Brooklyn!!!! I can't believe we have had her in our lives for 5 years now!!! What a joy and challange she is for us! We love her so much. We let her pick what kind of party she wanted (no more pool parties for her!!) and she didn't even hesitate...she wanted a Chuck E Cheese party! I'm really not a fan of CEC cause it stinks...the carpet is dirty...the food is gross...need I go on??!! But that's what the princess wanted so that's what she got! She had such a fun time playing all the games with her friends (notice Rick really getting into playing the games too...I cought him several times just playing games himself!!!) until....Chuck E Cheese showed up! Ofcourse, knowing Brooklyn...she wanted nothing to do with that overstuffed Cheese head!! Her uncle Steve had to stand with her just so we could get a picture with her friends and Chuck!! And the cake...oiy! She said she wanted me to make the cake...so I'm thinkin, Yes! make a homemade chocolate cake, put some sprinkles on it and call it done! Well, not for this princess...she wanted a Wall.E cake! Don't ask me why, she didn't even like the movie!! So, I've never made a decorated cake like that before...so I had to buy all the decorating things...the pan, the icing, and little Wall.E's to go on top! I think that cake cost at least as much as a Publix cake. Naturally we ran out of time and Rick and I literally ended up throwing that cake together 15 minutes before we had to leave for her party!!! Oh what fun! No really, it was!!! Her birthday lasted for like 4 days...her party was Saturday night, and her real birthday was Monday. So on Monday we went to Dinasour world (it was awesome) and that night we had our family party for her with our friends that couldn't make it to the CEC party! Then Tues...I made cupcakes for her class at school!! I swear, I was birthday'd out!!! Anyway...here are some pics of the blessed event! And thank you to everyone for the phone calls, messages and cards!!! We love you all and missed you very much at this party!!

What a cute girl! Looks she had a great birthday!!!
Her facial expression when the chuck e cheese mouse was touching her was sad. I wanted to be with her to comfort her. I can not believe she is 5. I noticed she had more boys than girls at her party.
You did a great job on the cake! when I saw the picture I thought wow, they spent a fortune on a chuck e cheese cake. And how funny is it that you are how many states away and Madison and Brooklyn had the same party idea. It looks like she had a blast! Now on to Kendals party!
