Bath Time Gracie

Seriously...this kid is adorable!! She is so much fun...and boy is she a talker already! I was giving her a bath the other day...she loooooves baths, kicks her feet wildly and smiles up a storm, definitely shows off!...and I was lotioning her up and drying her hair and this is what I saw! Had to grab the camera!!!...enjoy!

Pumpkin Time

Brooklyn and her friend, Kaleb making Halloween Pizza!

Our little artist...she didn't want to carve it, she wanted to
paint it and she was very serious about it!
Brooklyn's GINORMOUS pumpkin...no going small with this one!

Gracie with the "family" pumpkin! She had no idea what we were up to!

Halloween this year was so chaotic! I was so over the month of October by the time Halloween hit that I'm afraid we literally carved pumpkins Halloween night before going to a friends house for dinner and trick-or-treating. But the kids had fun and are both so different when it came time to carving their pumpkins. Brooklyn picked the biggest one and wanted to all but shove dad out of the way and carve it all herself (the only thing she insisted she needed help on, was getting the guts out cuz you know she doesn't like to get her hands dirty!). Kendall, on the other hand, picked the tiniest pumpkin (I swear that it is in part due to the book we've been reading "The Littlest Pumpkin" in which no one picks the littlest pumpkin and it's greatest wish is to become a jack-o-lantern on Halloween...Kendall always feels so sad for the littlest pumpkin when the patch closes Halloween night and no one has picked the littlest pumpkin...even though she knows the happy ending...(oh, I know you're wondering...the little mice in the patch carve it up and it becomes the center piece jack-o-lantern at their Halloween party!) And she didn't want to carve it. She wanted to paint it which was just fine by me. True to Halloween in Utah, it was raining the whole day and got pretty cold. But by the time we finished our pizza's the rain had stopped and dad took the kiddos trick-or-treating. As if they didn't already have enough candy from the Ward Halloween Party and their school parties...but it's all part of the experience.
The "Chosen" Pumpkin

My goofy buggsy!
They were having such a fun time running away from us moms in the maze!
Kendall and her friend, Avree!

Kendall's preschool took a field trip for Halloween. She had so much fun and felt like a pretty big kid going on a field trip! Her class is so cute and she adores her teacher (so do I!). She only got upset when the older kids that were there (not a part of her class) trampled her along with her little friends in the play area and then she was a little "miffed" at the large two dollar pumpkins cuz they were too heavy for her to carry. So, I'm trying to force her into picking out a two dollar pumpkin cuz, hey, I already paid the two bucks...and by golly and I'mma get the most for what I paid for, right??!! Well, this little three year old with a not so little temper, wouldn't have it any other way...sure enough she picks out a tiny little one dollar pumpkin just "Kendall size" as she said! But hey, she loved it so whatever!

3 months and counting...

Graciecakes turned 3 months old on the 7th! Man, it's amazing how quickly time flies. She is such a happy, easy baby now...now that we have an understanding! hahaha! It didn't take her too long to catch on that we wanted her on a routine. She definitely put up a fight...she's got some stubborn in her. But now we are all happy! She sleeps through the night from about 8pm to 7am. And she's just a doll on schedule during the days! My life has gotten really fun! She is all smiles...just eats up any attention she can get. She coos and giggles and as you saw on the video, is rolling over. We just bought her a bumbo (chair to aid in sitting up) and she loves that and feels so big sitting by herself! She loves it when Brooklyn and Kendall come up and play with her. She already thinks they pretty much rock! She's getting chunky...as all my sweet babies do! I just love the extra chin!! So, happy 3 months to my sweetheart!

Well...I'm a terrible mother!

Somehow, I have managed to delete the pictures of my girls' first day of school. I have no idea how it happened. I'm apparently still operating under my pregnant brain...or so that's the excuse I use whenever I do something completely stupid...like this! So, I will take more pics of the girls ready for school but they won't be the authentic "first" day! Oh, how could I have done this???

Gracie has rolled over!!

Little miss Graciecakes turned 3 months old on Monday and she rolled over twice on Thursday and once on Friday...I captured the one on Friday! Enjoy my sweet baby growing older in front of your eyes!
